I think there should be rules for the chat channels.

They say locks only keep the honest person out. So these rules, for now, would only be as a set of guidlines for curtesy, but still be rules.

Perhaps there are rules, I have not seen any and I have been scouraging this site for a couple of months, so it is safe to say they are not widely known. If that is the case this needs to ba addressed and I would like to see if I am breaking these rules.

Right now there seems to something imposed to keep posts out of the trade channel from being repeatedly. I do not know the specifics, but one rule would seem to be: Do not repeat unnecessary chat in the town channels. Some would argue that in the team chat spamming it helpful during combat, I disagree, but that is up to the team.

I propose that it be rule that: Trade talk be kept off of the Local channel. A trade channel was asked for during one of the Beta Weekend Events, and it was made. All offers to buy or sell should be kept to the trade channel. All talk of prices and detail can easily be kept to wispers. This benefits both those trying to chat or group by having the trade in the channel it was ment for, and benefits those trying to find that killer Fire Wand, by redusing the numbers of channels they have to watch.

I think these are "gentleman/woman-like" rules.

Who else has suggestions that would not hamper the game for any majority of the gaming population?
